Roller Derby and Other Engaging Number Sense Activities for Primary Grades

DETAILS: “What’s My Sum?” and “Roller Derby” are two of several activities that will be experienced to help students along the road to developing number sense. Primary students begin by associating numbers with objects and move to adding numbers, estimation, and using a number line. Walk away with strategies and activities that will help your students enjoy learning math.

In addition to the data analysis and NeSA updates, we will study recent research, pedagogy, and strategies directly related to science instruction. Each session is different and a more detailed agenda will be provided three weeks before the training.

The Technology Integration Group (T.I.G.) will be comprised of representatives from each of the 16 school districts.
